- Q:I have a w385 Krzer on Boost Mobile's UNLTD plan. I like the Krzer and all but I'd like a new phone but keep the same number and plan. I was just on their site and was looking at all their phones but there is no option to buy a new phone in replacement of your other. the Krzer w385 does not have a SIM card so I can't but another phone online to swap card into I don't think. - Q:I have a girl that I like in the Ukriane, but every time I call her from my home phone line to her mobile phone! She can barely hear me, I experianced this same problem with another person but then we tried having me make a phone call from my home in Ohio, to their home int he Ukriane and I heard them pretty well! with no problems! What's going on with this, is this on my end or their end on why they can hardly hear me! It seems to always happen when I call European mobile phones in particular, or do you think it is my phone at home! Bu that wouldn;t make sense on why I can hear them fien when I call from my house to their house! Can anyone help, comments would greatly be appreicated?
- It is a bit complicated, but to summarize: When you call from your home to her home, your long distance carrier routes the call over the international trunk lines, through the telco in Ukraine, and directly to her home phone. When you call to her mobile phone, the call takes the same route, but the telco in Ukraine routes the call to her mobile carriers central call center, and then the call has to be searched in Ukraine to find her phone and the call is carried over their cellular network which may involve routing it through several different carriers (cellular) and connections (landline telcos), depending on where she is and what company her mobile service is with. Interconnects between carriers in Ukraine are very poor (they route competitors calls through the worst lines, to obtain more direct customers). Depending on who your phone company uses to carry international calls to Europe, the quality of the call might be better or worse. A call through a calling card is usually as you experience. Redialing may make her hear you, but you do not hear her. In my experience, direct dialed calls through Vonage are usually good in both directions at a reasonable price (16 cents a minute). QWest direct dialed call to a mobile in Ukraine is usually very good (but very expensive - 26 cents a minute). A good calling card (about 50% chance of a good connection) is the Continental card from phonecards.waytorussia (at 11 cents a minute) - and it allows her to call you for the same price via sms callback (and the connection that way is very good).

- I used to work at Virgin Mobile and when I was there I don't believe that they had free phone upgrades. I know that they would just give offers to random people, but for a phone upgrade all you could do is buy a new phone. The only time you would get a cheaper or new phone would be if they were having a sale on the phone or a promotion. Things might have changed but thats how it was. At random parts of the day, in any weather condition, I will hear a slight beep, and then open my phone only to read, Smartchip not allowed MM#The phone isn't shutting itself off, I just can't make or receive any calls, or text messages. WhenI'm in the process of an Instant Message, I'm immediately signed out. I've found powering it off, and then back on, fixes the problem. I miss calls and texts if I don't have the phone around me, as I don't hear the slight noise that always sounds, when these distruptions occur. I always get the messages that are missed, once I power the phone off and on.I've had the phone for at least 4 months. I've talked to 4 different 'experts' at ATT, but they're clueless. - No need to be upset, Princess-all old people can't use cell phones. Problem is, mobiles don't last forever- esp. batteries if you are charging them every other day. 4 months is a bit early for the things you are experiencing, so take it back. If you can't do that, then get the cheapest one you can buy. You don't need 200 million pixel video camera on it if you won't use it. JUST MAKE SURE YOU CAN GO ON THE NET WITH IT! Don't forget to take your chip out and make sure the one you do buy is tri-band. But just keep phoning ATT and complain. I am guessing it is a free number, so when you are watching tv, having lunch, can't sleep, in the toilet, having a swim-just phone them. All the time, just keep going. You might get a free phone out of it-I did! 3.

- My boyfriend and I both have T-Mobile. He has the blast and I had the Nokia 5310 (i recently upgraded to the G1.) The blast is an ok phone. The battery life is not anything amazing but it is ok. I really liked my Nokia 5310. It was compact, had a great music player and it had a long battery life. I know its not a slider phone but you should really check it out. They also have them on sale for $50, just at your budget!

- The mytouch 4g slide made by htc is the best smartphone with 4g keyboard 1080p hd recording and of course touch screen I had a mytouch 4g (no keyboard) and it was the best phone I had but I switched to a cheaper kayboard phone the sidekick 4g but I wouldn't recomnad the sidekick

- T-mobile. Samsung intercept. Because they're cheap(: T-mobile is cheap but you have to pay a lot of money to get out of a contract. A cheap phone company ? IPHONE 4S Definently ! :DD Children are still learning responisbility at the time and most likely to lose their phones sometimes /: it all depends on the responsibility of the child to me.
