Light weight charger (using electronic circuit instead of transformer).Someone told me that the out put of inverter / ups is NOT pure AC. That is, not pure sine wave but similar to square wave.If we connect the type 2 (see above) charger to the A.C.output of inverter , then it will damage the charger. - Q:Hello. In my last flights a while ago the Flight Woman told me to remove my mobile phone from service because of take off and landing only. I ask her why but she did not tell back to me.What is it? Do my mobile phone insult the functionality of the plane during take off and landing? Can it harm the navigation of the captain? Or does it harass the electricity of the plane? Is the captain allowed to turn on his mobile phone during take off?And in flight I was scaring because there was a thunderstorm outside from the plane. I turn my mobile phone of really fast. Can the thunderstorm call my mobile phone during flight and kill me?And there was another guy who was in use of his mobile phone during landing. He was sitting away and I was talking to him really loud to turn of his mobile please. The flight woman tell me to be shut down my service of talking. She was not tell him to take it out of service! Why are other people allowed to use their during landing?
- Honestly, having a cell phone on in flight probably won't do anything to the plane itself. but, once an airplane is in flight, the phone can't get the signal because the plane is moving too fast to lock on to the signal. Not only does it kill your battery because it takes a lot more energy for your phone to try and lock onto a signal, it's against the law to operate your phone so just turn it off. You can once your above 10,000 feet however, use your phone in 'airplane' mode which means the phone is not sending, receiving or trying to lock onto a signal.

- Yes the Virgin Mobile phones suck. I had them for about a year before I finally just sucked it up and got a contract with Verizon. If you use your phone a lot you are better off getting a contract with a regular phone company instead of paying for the cards for Virgin and having the sucky phones. Every phone that I ever had from them which was about 3 in a year (not by my choice) broke. You can't use anything but VM phones with the VM service.

- You can't switch your Boost Mobile phone to Virgin Mobile. Both Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile do not use sim cards. So there's no way of using your Boost Mobile phone on Virgin Mobile. Just get a Virgin Mobile phone. Since Virgin Mobile doesn't use sim cards, you can't switch your Verizon EnV Touch to Virgin Mobile. Also, Virgin Mobile phones are ONLY AVAILABLE on the Virgin Mobile network. So you cannot switch other phones.
