go to carpet store find some close matching piece tell them what your looking for then ask to talk to there carpet installer ask how much he will charge to take some carpet out of the closet and seam it in the burnt area and replace the closet carpet with what you bought no doubt this is a aparment and you dont want to buy them new carpet even though its probally shot like my apt carpet was had a dog that tore up some by a door and thats what i did

Q:I have a puppy that is a year old and she still isn't fully potty trained(shes a lot better than she used to be, but still has accidents) plus i have a toddler and normally have many other children here- leaving spills and stains. So for the past year I have used my carpet shampooer A LOT but am now concerned that it may have mold under it or in the padding. my mother keeps telling me they aren't a good thing to use and they will create mold. So I am wondering if it would be moldy and if so how I can get rid of the mold? Thanks!:)

If the carpet isn't hairy, and you don't smell anything odd, tell your Mom, The carpets fine. And get the dog trained, or that will cause an odor. She's old enough to be completely housebroken.

12 yrs old. and you want to sapnk it? shame on YOU! There is something wrong like a UTI (urinary tract infection) or she just cant hold it that long. Think about getting old and having bladder control problems. EFFF the freaking rug. Your dog doesn't care about that, neither should you. Get your dog to the vet and see what is up. Bet there is something going on, and your dog has been trying to tell you, you just don't get it!!!!!!

Q:Grr Overstock wont ship here so i had a 8x10 ft rug shipped to my Moms house...from there I was going to pay to have it shipped here to Guam. But no Fedex wouldnt ship it and UPS either the dementions are either too small or too big. =( then i got hopeful bc a neighbor said OKorder ships here. So I got all excited when I found the same exact zebra print rug on OKorder... but of freaking course it cant be ship[ped here....can someone just bring me a dern black and white zebra print rug ? =( I now have island fever.

Cut it into smaller pieces and carry it home yourself then carpet glue or tape it back together. Why not use the local product - Guamanian striped and zoned in black. Why kill yourself over a dumb rug?

Q:I am trying to find a practical solution to carpeting my basement with pets and kids in the house. I was looking at carpet tile because I can just replace a worn or stained piece. Has anyone here used carpet tile? What brand did you buy and how did it hold up? Can this be easily installed or do I need a pro? Any tips?

Unless your pets are WELL behaved They will make short work of ripping tiles up and chewing the edges to frazzles. Leaving turned up edges and holes your kids can trip on. If they are unruly, even a one piece carpet is up for grabs. Esp in the corners and at the door, if they want in or out. This applies whether it is Glued down Or stretched in. Good Luck with it! RT
