- Q:I searched for T-mobile stores and it showed me Target so I'm guessing they sell them? Also, would I need some special documents or anything like that when buying a new phone? The contract is in my moms name, but I'll be going alone to buy it (I'm 19). Would it be just pay and go or do they need any information?
- Yes Target does sell T-Mobile service with contracts and without contract (Prepaid). However they don't have a lot of phone selection. Your best bet would be at a T-Mobile store. If you want to activate your own line with a contract at Target then you would have to show them a driver license. They will do a credit check before activation. If you mother is the primary person and holder on the T-Mobile account then it is unlikely Target will sell you the phone and have it activated. The primary person needs to be present when they activate the 2nd line to the account. On prepaid phones with T-Mobile at Target you don't need to show any identification and you can purchase the prepaid phones there as well.
- Q:I use my mobile phone as an alarm clock and i always have it beside me but i heard that it is not good because of the waves or something like that. i just want to know whether there are any harms if you have your mobile phone with you if you are sleeping.
- Mobile cause harm only when you are communicating with it. Incoming electromagnetic waves cause the harm. So, if no one rang you on your mobile during nights, then it's ok. Don't worry about that. And one suggestion also. Don't rely routinely on alarm to get you awake. Our sleep cycle and biological clock are very strong tools that awaken us when we need, just have a try and you'll soon realise that. Use alarm only when you really need to
- Q:I am going to Europe (I begin in London) and I would like to rent a mobile phone that I can take with me throughout my travels and return at my end point (London)
- Oh ok you reposted, lol. This is the second time I've seen a question about renting mobile phones and I can honestly say I've never even heard of the concept. I don't think you can rent mobile phones, not in the UK anyway. The best thing for you to do is to buy a cheap prepay mobile phone for about ?30 in London, put ?10-20 credit on it and that should last you for your trip. You will be able to use it to roam throughout Europe, I recommend you buy one on the O2 network.
- Q:I saw a virgin mobile jax phone for $14.99 I'm thinking about getting it cause it has a mp3 on it and I could use it as my permanent clock. I was just wondering if there is any activation fee or anything because I don't want to use
- If you don't want to use it a phone, then you shouldn't have any problems. There's no activation fee, but you might have to pay for the first month's free to help activate it before you can use the programs. Not sure if you would or not, I just paid it on mine since I use it as a phone any way. If you want to use mp3's on it like you said, I'd watch out because it may be hard. I haven't had the same phone you said about exactly, but I have had several Virgin Mobile phones and Virgin Mobile has all the phones they sell set to not download anything from sites they don't like, which basically means anything free. That includes trying to send files over via cable or even bluetooth. For just an alarm, it should be a good choice, jst don't hope to get a lot done with it unless you wanna pay more to unlock it to download the songs you want if you want it as an mp3 player as well.
- Q:I am looking at Vigin Mobile phones, and I have found two that would be great. The Slash and the Shuttle. I need help choosing. Which one is better?
- Definately the Shuttle!! Here is why the Shuttle is better: (+) Shuttle camera is 1.3 megapixel camera, Slash is just VGA (+) Shuttle can record video, Slash cannot (+) Shuttle is 3G speed and uses EVDO (this is Virgin Mobile's first EVDO 3G phone) (+) Shuttle has a music player (Slash does not) (+) Shuttle has removable memory, Slash does not (+) Shuttle is much quicker than Slash This is why the Shuttle is better :-) If you are planning of getting either one of these, it would be best to get the Shuttle, the higher price is worth it. I am planning on getting one!!
- Q:I'm eligible for an upgrade, and I would like to know your opinions on whether I should get the G2, or MyTouch 4G. Before anyone answers, yes I am aware T-Mobile (like many other carriers) may not be as strong in your area, as it is in mine. I'm not looking for any comments about T-Mobile, or how the IPhone is so much better than any of them etcI'm seeking what owners have found as Pro's Con's of each type of phone. Like what's the difference between G2's Stock Android, and MyTouch's adaptation of it. If you are a current owner of either of these phones, you're experiences be they positive or negative. Would be great to read to help me make a choice. Thanks!
- I don't live in the US so I don't really know how bad T-Mobile is. I haven't heard of the MyTouch 4G, but I have heard of the G2 (but known as the HTC Desire Z outside of US). I've heard good thigns about the G2, it's a pretty good phone, there aren't really much of a problem with it. The only flaw that some people have reported is that while sliding out the keyboard, the wire that connects the screen to the actual phone becomes exposed and it looks fragile like it would break at some point (the wire is important because if it becomes detached the screen will not work). Although, no one has reported an incident with it. So you should be fine with it. The good thing about it is that it runs on Stock Android meaning that you can update as soon as Google releases a new version of Android. HTC phones are pretty good in terms of quality and I know people with HTC phones so, I'd recommend it.
- Q:I have a T-Mobile phone and I was wondering if I could trade it in for free at the T-Mobile place
- If its not your personal phone you are using now, you would probably get more money for it if you sell it yourself.
- Q:Hi guys :), umm I needa new phone n I'm thinking of buying it from t-mobile but I wanna hook it up to metropcs. I heared not all tmobile phone have SMS cards. So can u help me by listing some cheap phones dat don't have SMS cards? I would rlly apperciate that :) -Jasmine

- Q:I just bought a virgin mobile phone.LoVeD it! But on the top of the phone where the icons are there is a GPS icon(checked in the user guide). In the guide it said it means that the location service of my phone is disabled/enabled. What does that mean??
- if the Icon is on the screen GPS is enabled it just means that for instance if you lose your phone or get lost kidnapped (whatever) they can track you down as long as the phone is turned on.GPS means Global Positioning System.they also rec commend you have it enabled/on so if you call 911 they can get your general location.no harm in it i usually leave mine on its just kind of a safeguard i suppose
