Q:JUST the cable modem and router, not the whole PC. This is for the internet/ phone service.
There's no way of saying without further information. You need to know the amount of power provided by the UPS battery as well as the power drain by the cable modem and router to calculate this accurately. Generally speaking, a standard household model of cable modem and router do not pull a lot of power. Just ballparking it, since the power drain from both is fairly low...A UPS 750 will probably support the two devices together for about 45 minutes to nearly an hour...assuming NOTHING else is plugged into the UPS and using power from it. Be aware, however, that your local ISP will also be on backup or generator power...during an extended outage from a hurricane or serious snowstorm...sooner or later, they will go down too. .
Q:I have a SATA DVD burner SATA 160GB HD .... but the PSU only comes with ONE SATA power connector .... great ..I was thinking about buying a SATA host controller card ... but I found out that that will only give me more SATA ports and take up one of my PCI slots LOLThen I was thinking about returning my SATA DVD burner for an IDE DVD burner ...
What the sata connector/converter does is the same as the molex plug does on a ATA device, it just allows you to use the molex plugs as your power source for the SATA devices. Your devices should have a 4 pin connector for the molex so you really don't need the converter plug, as either way you only use one power plug. Don't use both (serial power connection 4 pin molex on one device) and there should be a warning label on the device that says the same.
Q:Hey guysWhen I put in my power cable, I can turn on my laptop, but as soon as I take it off, it shuts off. Why isn't it charging it ?Thanks alot in advance
Your battery may not be any good anymore. You may need to get a new battery.
Q:What does the watt rating mean on amp power cables?
in a lot of cases - not much. The name brands usually mention only total RMS power rating, and those are fairly trustworthy. But the off brands often use peak power ratings. That can mean many things from wiring kit to wiring kit, and lots of other things when you compare one amp to another. So if you're looking at an off brand wiring kit I would advise looking past the power rating and see what size fuse is included with it. That's the best way to know the actual current the wire can handle, and you can figure that for every 100A you're good for about 1000w rms.
Q:holes to route the cable through anyone have pics or a website so i can figure it out
ye this is just a common problem on many cars/tucks not just ford. did a custom install on my jeep and had to cut small hole in front left insulation under dash. it came right out into open space under hood and made great place to run wire. if u cant see any holes/spaces to run it then ur gonna have to cut a hole ro have someone do a pro install for you. (ultimately its cheaper easier to diy - need power drill and a big enuf bit to fit wire thru. im sure u can figure it out, just go slow and be carful, mine worked quik and easy and sounds great. good luck w/ all that - hope i helped
Q:there are two cables one thats blue and one thats black what are they called?
One is the power supply cable (Black one) and since its blue the second one would be a VGA cable. Hope this helps.
Q:how much will a xbox360 power cable go for, and the tv wire to connect the xbox and tv.seprate prices please?
If you mean the Power Supply Brick AC Adapter and cable and the Audio-Video cable, you should really sell them as a lot. On OKorder the two combined usually go from $20-30 with free priority mail shipping. If you are really intent on selling them separate you should expect around $10 for the Power Supply and around $5.00 for the AV Cable. Never say never, but you will NEVER get $50 for those items.
Q:Well I guess the more general question is:Are quot;twin power cablescompatible with 12v accessories and motorcycle batteries to make a safe running circuit?
In principle, yes, but it also depends on the type of bulb (single or twin-fillament). But you better have someone do it for you if you're not familiar with this kind of circuitry. There is risk of shorts and fire, unless you are sure of what you're doing.
Q:The hard drive is: Western Digital Caviar SE WD3200AAJS 320GB 7200 RPM, I'm getting from Newegg OEM. I know that OEM's don't come with a SATA cable which is fine but where can I find a compatible power cable? If it comes with one already please let me know. Thank you in advance.
An internal drive would be powered by your power supply. If you don't have any additional SATA power cords in your PC, I believe you can by a 4 prong to SATA converter. Otherwise you may have to look at getting a new power supply for your PC that has more SATA power adapters
Q:Hi,I have a set of Sony speakers that are a few years old. They have no power cable (nowhere to plug a cable in either) and the aux cable has no jacks. It is just two split wires. How can I connect them to my TV?Thanks,Aaron
Your unpowered (standard) speakers do not Plug in to a TV. They Plug in to an amplifier/receiver like all other standard speakers in this world do. Your speaker wires are not AUX cables, they are eh, speaker wires. speakers left over from all in one movie disc player/radios wont match up with normal recievers. You throw them away with the defunct disk player (HTiB). I do not believe for a second you do not know what a speaker is, or how normal speakers connect. This technology has been around for a century.
