Q:Are plastic card sheets good coin cases?
Not for loose coins. The coins need to be in cardboard/Mylar 2x2 'flip' holders. Those will fit into 9-pocket sheets, although not tightly. Better is to buy plastic 20-pocket sheets the same places you buy the flips. They're not much more expensive than card sheets.
Q:Cleaned out my basement today & found rolls of duck tape and plastic sheeting left over from Y2K. WTHell?
Water collector?
Q:What kind of material is the GREE board? It looks like plastic, much harder than plastic
The wear resistance of the acrylic plate is close to that of the aluminum, and the corrosion resistance of the resistant material is different
Q:how thick would a plexiglass sheet about 4ft long have to be in order to hold about 210 lbs?
I would recommend using a polycarbonate like Lexan or Hyzod instead of acrylic resin products like Plexiglas. They are considerably stronger, yet easier to work with. I think a 3/4 inch thickness would be lots if you went with Lexan, but at 4 feet long, any plastic sheet is going to be bouncy (Plexi will snap). You might have to edge it with something rigid to fix that. Usually anything over 1/4 inch (~6mm) is special order, but you never know, a local sign shop or glass shop might have some cutoff for you.
Q:PVC plastic gusset plate size generally?
Standard Specification for common PVC plastic gusset plates:1, PVC plastic gusset plate thickness: common are 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm and so on;2, PVC plastic gusset plate width: common 20cm, 25cm, 30cm and so on;3, PVC plastic gusset plate length: common 3M, 5.8m, 5.95m;
Q:Nascar: true paint or plastic sheet?
They are wrapped in plastic sheets that give them their color and designs
Q:Why is there a gap of 1 mm between the plastic mould, A plate and B plate? Is there a gap between the die and the die?
The mold is certainly no gap between, otherwise there will be flash (Pi Feng), leaving a gap of 1 mm between A plate and B plate is to die between better together, which can avoid A, B plate and mold tight, not tight.
Q:Can you do papercraft with plastic sheets?
Yes. I work with plastics and often played with some waste plastic like I would with paper. Origami is easy, you can use the same patterns and methods, you will just have to crease the folds better (but that does also depends on the kind of plastic). Papercraft where you need to cut and glue can be done but you will need to text the glue on the plastic. Paper mache is harder, some kinds of plastic will work, most will not.
Q:Overhead slide sheets? What are these called, will they print in my printer?
They are called overhead transparencies like the previous posts say. Make sure you find the one that says for inkjet printers if you are going to use an inkjet. The bad thing is, less and less people are manufacturing them so they are pretty expensive now compared to 4 or 5 years ago. I was shopping for some a few months ago and whoa, the price tripled from before. Anyhow good luck, STAPLES, Office Max, Office Depot. Walmart and Target used to sell em, but not anymore.
Q:What are these clear plastic sheets for cut cake called?
Cheese cloth
