Q:I started with one chair. I sanded it first, then wiped, and let it dry, and then i put stain on. And I see a few spots that seems like I didn't sand very good. So, the color is uneven. plus the chair has a plywood part on a back of a seat, it turns pretty ugly. What should I do? Let it dry, and sand it again, then stain it? Or let it dry, put primer and paint over it? CAN I pait it?
Depending on the wood, it will absorb uneven. Pine is the worst for uneven absorbtion. You need Minwax Wood Conditioner. Put that on, let it dry and restain.
Q:Yesterday I was at the mall and used the massage chair for about 30 minutes. I was fine until about 15 minutes after leaving the chair. At that time my whole stomach cramped up and has been shooting pains ever since. This morning it slowly starting to fade until my morning sickness kicked in, now ithe cramps and shooting pain are back again. What I wanted to know is this normal? Has this ever happend to anyone else? Hs anyone else heard of massage chairs being bad for unborn babies?I now know that I can't use them during pregnancy, but I was wondering if anyone else found this to be true? If not, I was thinking that their might be something more that is wrong with me.
Since you can not really control the pressure, the chairs are a bad idea. The number one goal of prenatal massage is comforting mother/child. An automatic chair can not do that. The mechanical motions of most of those chairs can jar a person and creates a sensation similar to 'shaken baby', but the baby is protected in the placenta. Though it will not damage the baby, it is too much movement for the pregnant body. Massage during pregnancy is wonderful, but it does depend on the mother. It is much debated whether or not one should receive any massage during the first trimester, since that is the time most women miscarry. Also, if the pregnancy is considered high risk, a doctor may not advise massage. But otherwise, massage benefits all the body systems, including increasing circulation, relieves muscle tension, and increases red blood cell count.
Q:I have 3 suede computer chairs that cannot be used due to the embarrassing stains. What are some products that would eradicate this mess? Thanks!
3 chairs, OMG you are busy!
Q:i am a barber cuttin out of holland michigan, my chair use to pump up to my eye level, and now im stuck hurtin my back bending over to get the client done,. my chair pumps up about 4 pumps i need some advice to fix this chair. i just want it to pump up as high as it use togt;gt;?
Your chair is basically a hydraulic lift. When you pump the chair you are pumping oil into the cylinder to lift the chair. When you push the release, the oil flows back into the reservoir. Odds are that one of the seals is leaking a little or you don't have enough oil in the reservoir any more. So you'll need to at least partially take the chair apart to troubleshoot.
Q:Which do you prefer? This would be for a dining set in cast aluminum that looks like wrought iron and would be used on a wooden deck (not a patio). I like the look of dining chairs (i.e., with legs) because I prefer a traditional style with my old house, but I'm wondering if swivel chairs would be more comfortable and practical on a deck (no legs to get caught in the cracks). Opinions?
Swivel, because it allows the user to position themselves in any direction with little effort (i.e., out of the sun, in the sun, to watch a volleyball match, to watch the kiddies swim, etc.)
Q:what events led up to the invention or the innovation of the chairwho is the inventor or innovator of the chairif you answer, get some sources. THANKS
Chairs have been around longer than ANYONE can ever remember. The Ancient Egyptians had chairs. We have no idea who invented the chair. And chairs haven't developed that much more since the dawn of time. They all have legs, even way back when they were very decorative, some had backs, some didn't, even in Ancient Egypt.
Q:Where can I find a chair like this?(link below) What kind is it, like what is it called?
It's okorder /
Q:Risk assessment assignment and one thing i noticed about the room is that the chairs used are of poor condition or broken, otherwise these chairs need to be replaced but my question is what health and safety risks are there with poor seating? links to websites detailing effects would be nice.
Abnormal chairs and the seating in the work place can lead to a lot of health hazards.. I do not have any website in particular.. But surf for the Occupational Health in Google or medscape.. Some of them to list are Falls and Trauma Cervical Spodylosis Lumbar Spondylosis Disc Prolapse Squint And strabismus due to abnormal head Porturing Sweat Rashes Pilonidal Sinus Constipation And Piles Reduced Efficiency of workers Sickness Absenteeisms Buissiness Loss many more.. List goes end less
Q:Hi so today my band teacher assigned us our place in the band and I got second chair for flutes. It's that good or bad? I wanted to get first chair but I guess I wasn't playing my best. :P so is second chair considered good or bad? Will I get anything like special from it? Or should I work my way to first chair since in my school we can challenge the chair above us. I want a opinion so I can make up my mind.Oh and if it helps, the other first chair (we have two groups for flutes) guy is kind of annoying and he always distracts the people around him. I know I should I have a good relationship with others but I dislike him
You should challenge no matter where you sit, and if you ever get to be first, you should encourage people below you to challenge. Competition makes you better, and as long as you have that drive you will be fine. Which flute section are you in, and how many flutes are there? Second chair in the first group is good if there are ten of you, not so good if there are only three. Second chair in the second group is probably not all that impressive. You will never like everyone in your band or orchestra. Learn to do your part, make friends with a handful of people and learn everyone else's name. Beyond that, you should keep to yourself and limit conversation to small talk. Spending too much time on relationships with band mates will draw you into the drama, and you will end up making enemies instead. Focus on the music and your own advancement, and you will be much happier with yourself and find it much easier to get along with others.
Q:I am re-doing my dining room chairs and would like to know if 5lb. density 2.5 in. memory foam would be a good choice or should I just go with medium firm 2.5 in. regular foam. I am going to wrap the foam in batting before I put the fabric on the chairs. Also would 2.5 inches be thick enouph or should I do 3 inches? Please give details as to which foam would be better and why.
No you need upholstery foam because you want it to keep its shape
