- As the previous poster mentioned, you could have an issue with your boot sector. There is also another thing that may be happening. Do you have any external hard drives or USB sticks connected to the computer? If so, the computer may be looking for an operating system on your external device rather than the internal hard drive. Disconnect all USB devices and try again if this is the case.
