1. The soybean storage silo tank structure Body

Include the wall plate, column, manhole, roof ladders and so on.

(1) The wall plate

Our steel is hot galvanized, which makes it durable and weather resistant. Our advanced bolts with spherical washer and the resisting-worn rubber are used to ensure the tightness and using period.

(2) Column

The column, made by the Z-bar, is used to reinforce the silo body. It is connected by junction panels.

(3) Manhole and Roof Ladders

There are inspection door and ladders inside and outside the silo body. It is convenient and accessible for any maintenance work.

What do yo know? First the total volume is 500 cubic meters. Second, you know that in order to have the lowest cost, the surface areas of the cylinder and 1/2 of the sphere must be a minimum. Third you know the formulas needed to calculate the dimensions. Volume of the cylinder = (pi)*r^2*h, Volume of half of a sphere = (1/2)*(4/3)*(pi)*r^3 Total volume = 500 Cubic Meters = Volume of cylinder + Volume of the half sphere 500 = (pi)*r^2*h + (1/2)*(4/3)*(pi)*r^3 (You need this in order to solve for h in terms of r Next you know the surface area of the cylinder portion of the silo. It is: Area Cylinder = 2*(pi)*r*h, Area of the surface area of the 1/2 sphere is: Area of sphere (1/2) = (1/2)*4*(pi)*r^2 Total Area = 2*(pi)*r*h + (1/2)*4*(pi)*r^2 = 2*(pi)*r*h + 2*(pi)*r^2 Now solve for h from the volume formula, h = (159.15/r^2) - (4/6)*r Plug this into the formula for the total area to get: Area = 2*(pi)*r*((159.15/r^2) - (4/6)*r) + 2*(pi)*r^2 = (1000/r) + 2.09*r^2 Next take the deriative of the Area with respect to r to get: Area' = (-1000/r^2) + 4.19*r, set this equal to 0 and solve for r to get: r = 6.2 meters. I assume you mean solenoid? They USED to, and may still be, mounted on the passenger side wheel well, under the hood. If its still there, it is a five minute job. Look for something that looks like a small black can with two battery cables bolted to it. Thats about the only thing I like about Fords!

I live in a small town, home to a major university (ranked as the #1 party school in the nation), because I live in a small town it is viable to attend the university and live like a hermit, in a secluded rented cabin fifteen minutes outside of town. You can live like a hermit in the middle of New York City simply by keeping to yourself but I find it's most comfortable to live like a hermit in a silo or in the outskirts of civilization. Hey, you don't even have to leave home anymore to do your banking or do a lot of shopping. Except for bread and milk you can get everything online, now go hide under the bed, the boogie man is watching.

Dig a big hole, put up some form-work, fill in the outside of the form-work with dirt, pour concrete into form-work, remove inner form-work, fill with grain. Though why you would want to is beyond me as you would need to add complex machinery to bring the grain back up to the surface. Better to build the thing above ground and let gravity do the work for you. By the way, the word is underground
