3. Operational Performance
a. Cable conductor allowed long-term working temperature not exceeding 90 ℃.

- Q:My power supply cable to the motherboard is only 20 pin and the motherboard has a slot to take a 24 pin power cord. The 20 pin will fit but 4 slots are just left empty. The motherboard LED light comes on showing it has power. When I try to boot up the motherboard runs but the hard drive doesn't boot or the screen isn't working. Could this be b/c of not having a 24 pin power cable?I know the video card and HD work b/c I just transfered them from another motherboard that was a 20 pin. Any ideas?
- I believe it'll work, 4 pins will just hang off to the side. The same goes for 8 pin power cables to a 4 pin power socket on the motherboard.
- Q:will leaving the power cable in for my laptop hurt the battery?
- Newer batteries cannot be overcharged but it is not advisable to leave the power cable plugged in when the battery is at a full charge. It will not hurt the battery but overtime your battery will not sustain a charge for as long as it should. My best advice would be to fully charge and let your battery drain to near completion and then recharge. Give your battery the exercise it was meant to have.

- Yes...all psu cables are interchangeable...all are 3 pronged..have been sence the 80's.....some psu makers don't even include them with new psu's figuring you'll have a extra laying around EVEn you monitors cable well work..

- You could probably buy an adapter plug for your existing cable. Getting a whole new cable might very well mess with the machine itself, and be more expensive than a simple adapter. Just go to an electronics’ store, with the cable, (the bigger the better) and ask for a suitable adapter for it.

- you always take wat amp fuses you have in the amp and add them all together and thats the minimun fuse amp you can have in your power, your amp has 2 25amp fuses so you need at least a 50amp fuse on ur power wire, and if you have the lil fuses you cant go beyond 40 so youll have to go get a MAXI fuse block and get a 60amp fuse and you will b fine, you can find them on OKorder for less than 10bucks or at walmart for 15-20bucks, good luck
