To protect for the bed wetting, I have my son in the pampers size 7 diapers. I found that using tape tab diapers perform better since you can adjust the tightness of the diaper via the tape tabs. I think the pull-up diapers move when the child sleeps and can cause leaks plus I don't think they hold as much as regular diapers do. I don't know how large your son is but if your going to continue to use diapers (which I would recommend doing), then I would go back to using a regular tape tab diaper vs the pull-on diapers. The pampers size 7 will fit persons over 41 lbs. I have been using the pampers diapers on my son and have not had a diaper leak, they perform great.

Well, yeah, there is a difference between using a gas fireplace and using a stove burner. The gas fireplace has a chimney. I wouldn't do what you're doing. What if there was blip in the gas supply, the burner went out briefly, then the gas kept coming in? There must be some reason why no one in the world who knows what they're talking about considers it safe to do what you're doing. People die every year doing it. If you insist on doing it anyway, get yourself a carbon monoxide detector. You may have been fine so far, but it only takes one time of things going wrong to die or get very very sick. I can think of a lot of alternatives. To keep your place warmer, try heavy curtains which will keep drafts out. You can't have that many windows in a one bedroom place. Put the electric heater in your bedroom and close the door at night. I don't understand how one stove burner can keep the place warm but a 1500 watt heater won't. Maybe you need a better heater.To keep yourself warmer, wear more clothes or get an electric blanket for at night, or even a down duvet. They're really warm.

Bring an emergency kit: candles, lighters, winter jacket, boots, tuque, gloves, long johns, chocolate, shovel etc. Just in case your car dies on the road. Do NOT use any back roads it's not worth it. Stay on the trans Canada hwy. If you have GPS great but bring a map. I drove from Toronto to Vancouver with a friend and we got lost on the way home. If you go through the states, I believe you have to have a passport now even driving! You'd have to google that but it is a new law. Just not sure if it's in effect right now. It takes me 16 hours to drive from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Toronto. To be safe give yourself a full week to get to your destination. Most normal people can drive 8 - 12 hours a day. Anymore than that and you're risking not only your life but innocent people on the road. ALSO, be aware that studded tires are illegal in Ontario and several other Canadian provinces. If you get pulled over the cop might fine you for that.

Q:I love to stay up really late (I mean 3:00 Am late) but my parents are starting to notice, so I need to be super quiet and mask any light coming from my room any ideas. Just call Animal Control. Even that person has to obey the law. Get enough reports on file, the County can deem those dogs a Nuisance and be take away. After that you can sue him in court for Disturbing the Peace, City Nuisance, and endangering the public at large. With those reports, you and any neighbors will prevail in Court. But you have to take a stand first to get things started.
